Charlottenburg doesn't get the yoga attention Neukölln or Friedrichshain do — but quietly, it has become home to some of Berlin's most established yoga institutions. Between Kurfürstendamm and Goethestraße you'll find a 25-year-old women's studio, a founder-led school that's become one of Germany's largest, a hot yoga and Ayurveda space, a community-focused retail concept with free yoga, and one of Berlin's best aerial yoga instructors. These are the five Charlottenburg yoga studios I'd personally send a friend to.
If you want to explore Charlottenburg beyond its yoga mats, my BertaBerlin Charlottenburg map covers three walking routes through the neighbourhood with 40+ local spots.

Aspria Berlin Ku'damm is a full-service fitness and wellness club — spa, pool, gym, group classes — but the reason I send people here is one specific class: Aerial Yoga with Jost Blomeyer. Jost has been running these classes for years and knows exactly how to ease a first-timer into inversions, using an acrobatic hammock to assist and amplify the yoga practice. Aspria itself is among the most comprehensive wellness clubs in the city; the rooftop café is a personal highlight for a smoothie after class. Day passes available at reception if you're not a member.

West Berlin with eastern roots: Yoga & More runs 42 classes per week across yoga, Pilates and barre fusion — and tops it off with full-service Ayurveda body therapy if you need to reset more deeply. Their hot yoga classes (40°C room, powerful practice) are especially popular in winter. The combination of movement, heat and ancient bodywork under one roof is rare in Charlottenburg, and it's the reason this studio keeps a loyal local clientele.

The lululemon City West store on Kurfürstendamm, right by the iconic Café Kranzler, does something most retail spaces don't: regularly, they push products aside, unroll yoga mats, and turn the store into a free yoga class. If you're in town and looking for a drop-in session that costs nothing, this is the community move. Check their Facebook page for upcoming dates, and if you want to add movement beyond yoga, their Tuesday run club from 18:30–19:30 is open to anyone.

Founded by Patricia Thielemann in 2004, Spirit Yoga has grown into one of the largest yoga schools in Germany — around 130 classes and 1,500 practitioners per week across three Berlin studios. The Charlottenburg location on Goethestraße (often called Studio West) runs a particularly strong pre- and postnatal programme alongside the general schedule, and comes with an attached spa for post-class relaxation. Clear, structured teaching with soul. If you want yoga with a philosophy underneath it, this is the house.

Lagoa Yoga has been on Uhlandstraße for over 25 years — a remarkable run for any Berlin studio — and specialises in a women-only format combining Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin, Pilates, Deep Work, and ballet barre. Plus cardio equipment on-site for those who want to round out the practice with a proper workout. Cozy, mature, and very Charlottenburg: this is the studio you come back to after years away and it still feels like home.
