Moabit is not very famous for it's restaurant, but scouting for my BertaBerlin maps I found many awesome restaurants in beautiful Moabit. Luckily for you, I almost completed an easy-to-use BertaBerlin map for Moabit. It took time, but here you have my Top 5 restaurants of Moabit. Probably the best spot in Moabit for a nicely plated fine dining dinner experience! The ship restaurant is located on the river Spree with a fantastic view and neatly served food but still kept young with all the service staff. In summer you can enjoy the beautiful sunset drinking wine on the deck, in winter you can sit around the cosy fire places on the upper- and lower -deck. This restaurant will impress you with a menu you won’t forget. Try the tuna tataki and the corn chicken served with chorizo. BON APPETIT.
Special tip: Don’t forget your cash, it’s not dead cheap ;-)

An absolutely down to earth and rustic Libanese snack bar with just a room with very simple chars and tables but if you are into arab food which is delicious then this is a spot to visit for a lunch more than a romantic dinner date. In the summer you can sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle on the street. The Big Bascha snack bar, prepares their food freshly and delicious every day. The chickpea stews such as "Foul" and Fate are served hot and taste like a poem! For 50 Cent you get all you can drink black tea.

This bizarre Turkish fish restaurant is a real hidden gem for all fish foodies located in the S-Bahn arches near the main railway station. The grilled gilthead, blue and tuna fish or fried anchovies are very much recommended.

A cosy Italian restaurant is a family business which offers delicious pasta variations as the Tagliolini al Tartufo. It's also rare to find a restaurant in Berlin with such a friendly service and with real Italians running it. This place is perfect for lunch or for lovers of late-night food.
