Hot Yoga in a Former Pen Factory

The studio formerly known as Berlin Hot Yoga rebranded in 2021 as Mahalaya Yoga & Healing Arts and expanded into a 350 m² space in a former pen factory just off Boxhagener Platz. The hot yoga room is still the heart of the operation, but the programme has grown to include Vinyasa, Yin, pregnancy yoga, and regular sound healing journeys. The space sits in a hidden second backyard — it takes a minute to find, which is exactly why it stays a locals' secret.

Power Vinyasa Flow in a Frankfurter Allee Loft

yogafürdich — often just YFD — is one of Berlin's most established Vinyasa schools, with three studios across the city. The Friedrichshain location sits in a beautiful loft in the second courtyard of Frankfurter Allee 53, and the focus is Power Vinyasa Flow: dynamic, modern yoga that pairs strengthening asanas with flowing movement and conscious Ujjayi breath. Classes are fun and sweat-inducing in equal measure; you can laugh and struggle at the same time. If you're serious about your practice, their 200-hour teacher training runs once a year (next round September 2026).

Every Damn Day Yoga

Friedrichshain's Most Versatile Studio

In the space where Yoga Liebe used to be on Revaler Straße, Every Damn Day Yoga now runs 140 m² across two rooms — and their name says it all: classes run every day, in English and German, across an unusually wide range of styles. Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Sound Healing, Aroma Yoga, Fascia Yoga, Aerial Yoga, and even pregnancy yoga. An international team, a monthly unlimited online pass for €39, and memberships accepted via Urban Sports Club and ClassPass. This is the studio to pick if you want variety and community.

Hatha Yoga in Familiar, Stylish Surroundings

A short walk from Boxhagener Platz, Yogibar is exactly what its name suggests: a friendly neighbourhood yoga studio with a clear identity. The focus is Hatha yoga, taught in a stylish, intimate setting where the teachers remember your name after a class or two. A wider range of styles rounds out the schedule, but Hatha is the house speciality — and a good entry point if you're new to yoga or want a class that doesn't feel like a workout.

Fl'air Studio

Aerial Yoga with a View of the Spree

At the end of Holzmarktstraße, with windows looking straight onto the Spree, Fl'air Studios is Berlin's prime address for aerial yoga and everything that hangs from the ceiling: silks, hoops, trapeze, straps, flying pole. The 200 m² space has exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and a chic industrial feel — it's as much a rehearsal venue for professional aerial performers as it is a studio for curious beginners.
