Neukölln has quietly built one of Berlin's most varied yoga scenes — and unlike Charlottenburg or Prenzlauer Berg, the prices here still reflect the neighbourhood. You'll find a solidarity-based studio where you pay what you can, a Dharma Yoga temple with underfloor heating in Schillerkiez, a modern mindful-movement space for Pilates and Barre, a studio teaching Forrest Yoga and Animal Flow alongside Ashtanga, and one of Berlin's most respected classical teachers. Whether you're working off a hangover, clearing an over-stimulated mind, or just curious about a yoga style you've never heard of — one of these five has you covered.
If you want to explore Neukölln beyond its yoga mats, my BertaBerlin Neukölln map covers three walking routes through the neighbourhood with 40+ local spots.
Rebranded from Dharma Yoga in January 2024, Dharma Studios Berlin now runs two bright, golden rooms with underfloor heating in the heart of Schillerkiez — a proper temple for Berlin winters. The studio practises in the lineage of Sri Dharma Mittra and his Guru Sri Swami Kailashananda, with a strong focus on Ashtanga Mysore for serious students and regular drop-in classes across the week. The 100 m² space feels dedicated and quiet — exactly the kind of hidden second-backyard room where Neukölln keeps its best places.

Hidden in a rear courtyard on Sonnenallee, Yellow Yoga Studio Sonne is one of Neukölln's most welcoming yoga rooms — and quietly one of the most radical. The pricing is income-adjusted (solidarity-based), which means yoga actually stays accessible regardless of your financial situation. Daily drop-ins, fixed courses, morning challenges, retreats, taught in English and German across Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha and Kundalini. Mats, blocks and blankets provided. Come as you are.

Two doors down from Yellow Yoga, Hi! Studios FLOW brings a cleaner, more modern atmosphere to the Sonnenallee yoga stretch. The focus is functional, conscious movement — building strength, mobility and balance through a mix of Pilates, Barre, and mindful yoga classes. Classes run in English, open to all levels. The studio sits on the 2nd floor of the 2nd courtyard (typical Neukölln hide-and-seek), and their monthly membership starts at just €33. Bookable via Eversports and Urban Sports Club.

On the first floor of a historic building mid-Sonnenallee, Yoga Rebellion runs one of the more eclectic programmes in Berlin: traditional Ashtanga and Vinyasa alongside less-common formats like Forrest Yoga (a therapeutic, deeply physical style) and Animal Flow (ground-based movement that borrows from primates, bears and geckos — more fun than it sounds). Daily classes for beginners and advanced practitioners. Mats, blocks, straps, separate changing rooms and lockers on-site.

For a completely different register: Middendorf Yoga teaches the Middendorf breath method, a classical German practice that puts conscious breathing at the centre of every posture. This is yoga as quiet inner work, not as fitness — slow, deliberate, and surprisingly physical once you commit. The Neukölln studio sits two minutes from Rathaus Neukölln U-Bahn and runs both live in-person classes and livestream/video-on-demand options for home practice.
