RSO Berlin: a new chapter on historic ground
After Griessmühle in Neukölln closed in 2020, many thought one of Berlin’s most iconic club spaces was gone for good. Instead, the team reimagined everything and found a new home in an unexpected
location: the former Bärenquell brewery in Niederschöneweide — a vast industrial site that had stood empty for decades.
Today, the area operates as Revier Südost, with RSO.Berlin at its core. The atmosphere remains true to its roots: unpolished, spacious, and built for long nights. Different zones create a diverse experience — from outdoor areas for summer evenings to large halls for concerts, club floors, bars, and even an open-air cinema.
The energy here still follows Berlin’s signature rhythm, where weekends often stretch well into Monday. Getting to Schöneweide takes a bit of effort, but that’s part of what keeps the place authentic — and worth the trip.
