The Opera Neukölln has established itself as the smallest opera for contemporary musical theater in Berlin. The Neuköllner Oper was created out of a wish to present the genre of opera as close to real life as possible. Supporting the next generation is another important element running through the programme of this opera house.
This chandelier cinema with red velvet and golden stucco is a darling of the young scene of Neukölln. The theater is located behind the big round arch windows of buildings of 1910 and close by the Neuköllner Oper and Heimathafen. In four halls you can watch original versions of movies and in the mornings the theater offers a programme of kids too.
One of the nicest theaters in Neukölln is to be found only few meters of the Hermannplatz and well hidden behind fassades of apartment blocks. The elegant ambience of the fifties and the high-class movie selection with everyday OmU-shows make Neues Off to an unique cinema. And after the movie Neukölln invites you to discover even more hidden gems.
In no other Berlin cinema you will find such a huge choice of movies with subtitles. And if you missed to watch a movie, here you get your second chance: this theater is allowed to show many movies a little longer than others.
